BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING

President Ostbye called the meeting to order at 7:00PM. Everyone cited the Pledge of Allegiance. Wheeler moved to adopt the proposed agenda, Oksendahl seconded the motion and the members passed the motion. Peltier then moved to accept the minutes of the September 23, 2009 meeting as prepared. Valentine seconded that motion and the motion passed. Valentine presented the financial report. Wheeler and Hart moved and seconded to accept the financial report. The members passed the motion.

Moriya Rufer reported on efforts to secure funding for repair or replacements of the dam. Tollefson presented information about the vegetation survey and curly leaf pondweed.. Peltier moved to authorize Tollefson, Hart and Rufer to proceed with weed eradication as necessary in the spring of 2010. Wheeler seconded the motion and the Board passed the

motion. Funding remains for two more shoreline restoration projects in 2010. The lake coordinator also presented the lake monitoring wrap up. The Board also discussed the zebra mussel issue. There is no solution or means to decrease their numbers at this point in time. Owners are encouraged to monitor their docks and boat lifts.

The meeting recessed at 8:00PM in order to convene the Mosquito Abatement meeting. Hart reported that the cost for 2010 is close to the cost for 2009. Tent caterpillars remain a threat, although the threat has lessened.

The Board of Directors meeting resumed at 8:07PM. The meeting calendar for 2010 was established with meeting dates as follows: April 21, May 26, June 23, July 7, September 22, and December 1. These meeting will be at Lake Region Electric at 7:00PM. The Annual meeting will be August 14 at Fair Hills.

President Ostbye adjourned the meeting at 8:15 PM
