Bob Creek inlet Total Suspended Solids TSS is a measure of suspended particles in water. These particles can be soil from erosion and/or algae. High TSS corresponds with low water transparency and clarity. Bob Creek has excellent water clarity even up stream into the wetlands area. The TSS concentration ranges from 1-8 mg/L, which is relatively low compared with Spring Creek (1 to 17 mg/L). 2011 was a typical year for TSS concentrations and loading. The TSS loading increases with large rainfalls due to overland runoff. Historical TSS loading at the Bob Creek Inlet:
